In this episode, we take a critical look at Jack Hyles’ Enemies of Soul Winning and challenge several of the doctrinal arguments presented in the book. We’ll examine Hyles’ arguments in his own words, compare them with Scripture, and expose what I believe are the real enemies of soul winning: shallow doctrine, careless handling of the Bible, and a church culture that protects personalities instead of pursuing truth.

Not every church in the Bible is the Church. This week, we examine four different kinds of religious assemblies found in the Bible from the “churches” associated with pagan worship, to the church in the wilderness, the Church which is Christ’s Body, and assemblies connected with the coming Tribulation. By comparing Acts, Hebrews, Ephesians, and Revelation, we’ll see why simply finding the word church in a passage does not mean it is referring to the same people, promises, or dispensation. Context matters. And this is exactly why we must rightly divide the word of truth.
 

While this episode may not be the norm for a conversation on Unmovable, it confronts an idea pushed by opposing worldviews. Modern academia wants Americans to inherit guilt instead of gratitude. Rather than teaching us to learn from history, it teaches us to despise it. The slogan "stolen land" has become the latest catechism of a culture determined to convince Americans that their nation's existence is inherently illegitimate.

June may be Pride Month, but God's truth does not change with the calendar. This week, Randy and Caleb examine some of the most commonly misused Bible passages used to justify homosexuality, and explain what Scripture actually teaches. Most importantly, they point to the only true hope for those who have embraced this lifestyle, the transforming grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. No sinner is beyond the reach of the Gospel, and no sin is greater than the power of God's forgiveness for those who believe.

Modern Christianity has no shortage of teachers, podcasts, articles, and online ministries. Yet God did not design the Christian life to be lived through a screen. He established the local church as the primary environment where believers are taught, corrected, encouraged, equipped, and protected. The church's correction of Christians is not a sign of oppression but one of God's greatest gifts to His people.

She can teach the ladies and children. She can witness. She can disciple. But can she be a pastor? The answer isn't found in cultural trends and rarely in denominational politics, but it is found in the word of God.
